TYPO3’s maker Kasper Skårhøj remembers it like this

After developing the open source software for a long time, with the preparations through for initial release, Kasper was looking for some new attractive name for the – to be released software. The intention was to give a name like “ Freestyle “ which meant open and flexible, but this name could have been a hurdle owing to the presence and association of certain available products and their related trademarks. So naming the new software was hanging around in Kasper’s mind unless there was a new better idea that could be generated.

TYPO3 version 4.3.1 released

Just now the Typo3 - Core Team for the stable version of TYPO3 version 4.3.1 released. Originally, the developers had planned the latest version of the popular Enterprise Content Management Systems on Tuesday made public, but deviated from the planned date in favor of some other improvements. The latest version of TYPO3 is both a bug fix release and security release. An update to the latest version is strongly recommended, but not for all users of Typo3 immediately and hastily mandatory. Mainly affected by a serious vulnerability is a system extension that does not always apply.

What Is Typo3?

TYPO3 is a free development framework for Web sites, which was originally developed by Kasper. TYPO3 is based on the PHP scripting language. As a MySQL database, but can also be used as PostgreSQL or Oracle. The system is powered by two teams, one for each version 4 and one for version 5, developed.
